San Francisco & Napa

SAN FRANCISCO

For my 20th birthday, my mom, dad, and I went to San Francisco for the long weekend.

I had never been to Cali before, so I was very excited. I had no idea what to expect. All my knowledge about San Fran came from Princess Diaries -- so essentially big hills and a beach somewhere. This goes to say I couldn’t EVER drive in San Fran… my car would end up in the ocean.

We stayed at a cute & chic hotel - Taj Campton Place. I loved the location. It was right downtown by great shopping and super close to Chinatown. Right when you walked outside of the hotel, you were in the middle of the luxury shopping of San Fran.

Some highlights of the trip included going to SoulCycle (lol, what can I say), visiting Chinatown, Alcatraz Island (highly recommend going there and doing the audio-guided tour), Golden Gate Bridge (we walked across it), Fisherman's Wharf, Muir Woods National Park and of course Napa.

In Napa, we went to  Jacuzzi Family Vineyards and sampled some of the best wine and olive oil I had ever had in my life.
