Gluten Free Focaccia Bread

Almond flour focaccia bread! calling all celiacs and gluten free peeps - here is a super easy gluten free bread recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of almond flour

  • 1 1/2 cup of Gluten-free 1:1 flour OR Half Almond & Half Gluten Free flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast (1/4oz)

  • 1 1/2 of warm water (120-130°F)

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 4 tbsp olive oil (divided in half)

Steps

  • In a large glass bowl mix the clouds, baking powder and salt

  • Heat water to 120-130°F and stir in yeast, sugar, and 2 TBSP of olive oil. Stir & let sit for 3-5 minutes.

  • Now add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture.

  • It will be sticky and more battery-like. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit to rise for 30 minutes if you have fast-acting yeast and an hour if you don’t.

  • Add 2 tbsp of olive oil to a sheet pan or cast-iron skillet and spread around.

  • Next, add the dough onto the skillet or pan. If on a sheet pan, make an oval shape 3/4 inch thick.

  • Top with seasoning of choice. I did rosemary, salt & everything bagel seasoning!

  • Bake for 30 minutes at 400°F
